Changing complex to compact: Face-to-Face Training
Presentations are an ideal method for the communication of complex and relevant knowledge in a short period of time. Listening, enquiring, discussing, and the exchange of personal experience: our presentations reach far beyond single-page displays of bare facts, and are accompanied by multimedia components such as video, audio, pictures, and explanatory illustrations.
Doing better jointly: workshops
In our workshops, we provide the necessary skills for successful teamwork. The participants develop new strategies to train focused communication, avoid conflicts, and effectively make decisions. Our workshops are typically led by two presenters: an instructor experienced in didactic methods and a co-presenter with experience in the participants: particular professional field.
Training for eventualities: simulations
Innovative full-flight simulators and emergency simulators make it possible: true-to-life training in a virtual world. Without any risks and with extreme efficiency, too, pilots and cabin crews learn how to operate complex systems, work as a team, and make decisions. At the same time, they learn to master potentially – although in practice most likely improbable – critical situations.
PC training: E-Learning
Whether in the form of Online Training or Computer Based Training: the E-Learning Training programs developed by Lufthansa Flight Training enable time and location independent qualification of pilots and flight attendants. In order to achieve the greatest possible training effect, the content is communicated with the aid of animations, high-resolution diagrams and illustrations, video and audio clips.
Learning from one¿s own actions: Video-LOFT
Video-LOFT Training was developed for the aviation sector for team training of cockpit crews. During a LOFT (Line Oriented Flight Training) session, a complete operational scenario is reproduced – in the case of Pilot Training, a flight from A to B – and recorded on video. A subsequent debriefing allows the participants to take a critical look at their own actions.
Foreign languages made easy: the language lab
In our language laboratory, course members can work independently with state-of-the-art, multimedia language learning programs – interactively and according to their proficiency levels. At a PC workstation equipped with headphones and microphones, they learn to master grammatical structures and the active use of language.
Hands-on training
Learning by doing: In the context of our Emergency Training courses, participants are instructed in the safe and correct deployment and use of all relevant safety/rescue equipment and the individual components of emergency equipment – for instance fire extinguishers, life-vests, or survival kits.
