Airline Cockpit Training

Typerating

Our courses are suited to achieve a Typerating on common commercial aircrafts. They are conducted to JAR-FCL specifications and enhanced by elements essential to the practical operations of your airline.

The courses include:

- Instruction into system knowledge with the aid of E-Learning programs
- Handling normal and abnormal procedures
- Training of non-technical skills as part of a Line Orientated Flight Training course

Recurrent Training (OPC and LPC)

This training is designed to maintain the pilots aircraft type qualification. Participants - Captains and FOs - refresh their type-related knowledge of system functions and operating procedures. The courses contain computer based training and simulator training, ending with a proficiency check in the full-flight simulator according to JAR-FCL and EU-OPS.

Additional Training Modules

Our Typerating modules provide specific preparation for operational tasks relevant to daily practice. Our training courses achieve the best possible training effect with an efficient mix of E-Learning and simulator training.

Low Visibility Operations (LVO)
Participants earn flight approach certification under CAT II or CAT III weather conditions. Multistage practical training in the full-flight simulator and E-Learning are core components of the course. Further contents cover system basics as well as normal and abnormal procedures.

GPS Navigation
Participants gain basic knowledge and become familiar with normal and abnormal procedures for navigation and for flight approaches using the Global Positioning System (GPS).

ETOPS Training
This course provides specific training for extended-range twin-engine operation performance standards.

LOFT (Line Orientated Flight Training)
On the basis of a simulated and complete line operation from take-off to landing, pilots are trained in optimal communication and teamwork, and learn how to make coordinated and correct decisions in a wide range of situations.

Landing Training (Zero Flight Time Training)
A focused and cost-effective simulator-based Landing Training, if the airline is certified for this kind of training.
