All clear for visual systems at LFT

The advantages of modern visual systems such as the EP-1000CT for pilots speak for themselves. Three-dimensional presentation of the world, 120 real visual databases with photorealistic presentation of airports and the soon to be available auto generic option for almost every airport worldwide offer the pilots the very best in realistic training conditions.
Ten LFT simulators are now using the new visual system following a visual roll-over and 'flying' with EP-1000CT. Lufthansa Flight Training played a major role in developing the visual system together with the manufacturer of the EP-1000CT, Rockwell Collins.
And what about the remaining 28 simulators in the LFT fleet you may ask?
"They have all been equipped with EP-1000CT or Tropos, the CAE visual system, right from the start. That means that with one little exception, the MD-11 simulator in Zurich, we offer our customers a very homogenous picture in terms of visual systems," commented Dr. Norbert Wiesner, Vice President Simulator Technology at Lufthansa Flight Training.

So it is all clear for the visual systems in your training at Lufthansa Flight Training.
