Lufthansa Flight Training

Within the framework of the Authorized Training Partner Programme (ATP), Lufthansa Flight Training will train pilots for European operators of the 110-seater CS100 and 130-seater CS300 Bombardier aircraft. The first CSeries aircrafts are scheduled to be delivered at the end of 2013.

All training services and concepts that are supplied by Lufthansa Flight Training for the CSeries in Europe are designed in coordination with Bombardier and carried out through specially trained instructors. Lufthansa Flight Training will provide the required simulator capacities for the training of CSeries pilots.

Swiss International Airlines, as the Launching Customer for the Bombardier CSeries, have ordered 30 aircraft of the type. In light of this, the first full-flight simulator will be ready for training at the end of 2013 in Zurich. The simulator will be operated in cooperation with Swiss Aviation Training.
